I first came to yoga simply because I wanted a way to move my body and feel more connected to myself. What I discovered was something far greater than a physical practice. Over time, yoga completely transformed my relationship with my body, my mind and myself.
I’ve been practising yoga for around six years, and Ashtanga has become a particularly special part of that journey. To me, the practice feels like coming home - a moving meditation where breath, movement and focus come together.
After completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Ireland, with Himalaya Yoga Valley under the guidance of the wonderful teacher Lalit Kumar, I knew I wanted to share what yoga has given me with others. As a teacher, I’m passionate about creating a welcoming space for beginners to explore the practice, build a connection with themselves, and discover the many ways yoga can support them both on and off the mat.
I hope to help students harness the power of yoga to connect more deeply with themselves, with one another, and with the world and earth around them.
I’m so excited to share the practice of beginner’s Ashtanga with you.
