JOIN US FOR A CUP OF CACAO SHARED IN SISTERHOOD

The Womb Temple offers a sacred space to connect within, without & with each other.

Guided by the spirit of Cacao and supported by ritual, conscious movement, self-inquiry, sharing & witnessing, the intention of this session is to offer a safer space where we can connect to our Heart-Womb and with each other, raising awareness of the cyclical nature of life that exists within and without us.

We will explore the significance of the current Equinox, Solstice or Cross Quarter, how it relates to our own being and how it is manifesting in our lives.

The space is open to all adult women of all ages.

Held every 12 weeks, on the Friday closest to the Cross-Quarters (Beltane, Lammas, Samhain & Imbolc).

WHAT TO EXPECT

After opening the Circle and checking in with each other, we will be guided on blessing our cup of ceremonial cacao and will drink it with the intention of connecting with and opening our hearts.

A meditation will follow to bring into our awareness the energy and meaning of the current Season and the significance of the given Equinox, Solstice or Cross Quarter.

We will then be guided through the practice of Womb Yoga, bringing into our awareness some of the main energy centers that allow the flow of life force in our female body.

After a short break we will do journaling to some prompts, which we will then deepen in small groups through movement explorations and verbal sharing & witnessing.

We will close the space with a sharing circle to integrate our experience.

ABOUT CACAO

Cacao has the potential to heal, connect and open our hearts to our true essence. It is beneficial for everyone to have a practice involving cacao. Mayas, who have been stewards of the wisdom and the tradition of sacred cacao for millennia, have been guided by their ancestors to open and share their tradition of cacao globally, specifically in these times. Even if cacao has been considered sacred since ancient times, it is important to note that for the Maya there was no such thing as a cacao ceremony. During the circle, Veronica will share some of what she has learned about Cacao through her own research and by studying with the Mayan Wisdom Project.
